meet

Let me introduce myself!

I'm Anna: a newlywed teacher living with my incredible husband [Byron] and our 2 puppies just outside Atlanta, learning how to become an adult.  Jesus Christ is my savior and I do my best to live a life that glorifies him.

Don't get me wrong, I love teaching, but if you asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" my answer would be to own a restaurant.  I'm happiest when wearing an apron, with ingredients, bowls, and utensils scattered atop the counters, and a glass of red wine in hand.

To me, there's no such thing as traveling too often & spending 'enough' time outside.  God's blessed us with an incredible world and we should enjoy it.  I think it's funny that a few years ago I absolutely dreaded running, when now it's one of my favorite ways to challenge myself & enjoy the Lord's creation.  The first summer Byron and I were dating he taught me to wakeboard; it's one of our favorite things to do together. We also love camping, hiking, and playing with outside with our furbabies [Bridget and Mook].

It doesn't matter where I go, I almost always carry a camera.  You never know when you're going to be inspired or want to snap a shot of something for memory's sake.

The Lord blesses us beyond understanding, but those blessings are often overlooked or go unnoticed. Some are untold and a lot are forgotten.  Are they even appreciated?  We serve a gracious God; a God who continues to pour blessings on His undeserving people because He loves us.  This is a blog of some of the blessings in my life.  The ones I hope to remember and want to share with you.  I hope they allow you to see just a glimpse of the loving Father.
